hell yeahh! very groovy and underrated! the sax, vocal scratch thing and the overall mixing of genres is great:)

metalblinga responds:

Thanks! :)
Vocal scratching turned out to be a lot harder than I thought it'd be lol

That story sounds like a fever dream, gimme whatever she took lmao

Quarl responds:

She nodded her head when I said angel dust but she was so messed up she might have said yes to anything. Could have been something else I guess but I like to trust random girls that are on drugs at 2 AM, take them on their word ya know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

thanks newgrounds, i indeed might have enjoyed this

Quarl responds:

Lol, Newgrounds gets all the credit for writing this song. Thanks Newgrounds :D

rip cat

Quarl responds:

I usually don't fill out the short description, I'm glad you noticed that. The birds start chirping and my cat's ears cock back. Then he stalks around like he's on the hunt. I can't tell if I'm torturing him or if he loves it.

this reminds me of stardew valley if you know the game:) keep them tunes up:)

metalblinga responds:

Thanks Casper!
I know of stardew valley but I haven't played it, although I heard it's really good so maybe some day.
I'm actually gonna be using a lot of my jamuary tracks for my game, Which is why I'm not making synthwaves like I usually do hehe :)

We have your family, this escaled quickly, give up NOW! it's over.
i like em both:)

Quarl responds:

Thank you Casper, tbh we have your family is growing on me :p

chill, melancholic feelings all around. Nice piano:)

I like it, gives me a sense of danger that grows as the songs goes on

zybor responds:

Thank you for your words :3

I'm glad i inspired you:3 in my kind of lofi i like the drums to be more prominent, with olskool hip hop vibes. That being said, i love these jazzy tunes! I've been experimenting with them in some of my songs where theres also a bunch of scratches and what can i say, it's a vibe. Really fits as background music for something or a certain section from a videogame which is really what lofi is supposed to be at its core, beats to chill and study to that you can make in your bedroom.
Although I do have to point out that its leaning more towards jazz than lofi, low fidelity music often has a certain aesthetic that includes background ambience ranging from old vinyl crackling to nature (ocean waves, animals, etc) or y'know, both. It's chill jazzy chords and addicting hip hop drum patterns. Nothing wrong with it being more jazz, I just wanted to point out since you seem curious about it<3
Also I like that pause with the drums, usually (at least when I do them) i don't make them predictable or pay attention to a certain rhythm but there's something nice about this one, like i said, would fit as bg music:)

metalblinga responds:

Thanks! Will definitely be using those tips on my next lofi track! I already got a starting template from this project so that'll really save time 😄

Suuuper laid back, love the vocals and the drums;)
